One of the great things about an interest in horse racing is that you can lose money (or, in theory, win it) while sitting in a digital awareness workshop. So it is that, on browsing the web as I wait for this morning’s session to start, I read that the Oaks favourite Chinese White, on which I had shrewdly invested at 20-1, is unlikely to run because the trainer thinks that Epsom won’t suit it. Why not run it and find out, eh?
